Is Centree free?

Yes! Centree offers a free tier with 100MB of storage and up to 10 stories. For more storage and features, we offer Individual, Family, and Legacy plans — including lifetime purchase options so you never have to worry about recurring fees.

How do I invite family members?

You can invite family members directly from the app by sharing a connection code. Family members can join as contributors (with their own stories and uploads) or as viewers (free read-only access to browse your family tree).

Can I record audio stories?

Absolutely. Centree has built-in audio recording with AI-guided interview prompts. Just tap record, and our prompts will help guide a natural conversation. Perfect for capturing Grandma's stories in her own voice.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase with encryption in transit and at rest. All data is hosted on servers in the United States. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. You can request complete account deletion by emailing support@centree.life. We will delete all your data within 30 days.

Does Centree work on Android?

Centree is currently available on iOS with Android and web versions planned. Sign up to be notified when Android launches.

What happens to my stories if I cancel my subscription?

Your stories are always yours. If you downgrade to the free tier, your existing content remains accessible — you just won't be able to add new content beyond the free tier limits. Lifetime purchases never expire.

I'm having trouble signing in with Google.

Make sure you're using the same Google account you originally signed up with. If you continue to have issues, try signing out of Google on your device first, then signing back in through Centree. If the problem persists, email us at support@centree.life.
